Born and raised in Dallas by Colombian immigrants, Ignacio was taught the value of a dollar at an early age. Having a strong familiarity with computers and technology, Ignacio was well positioned to take advantage of the tech boom of the early 1990s where beginning at the age of 18 he worked as a contractor for big names in the semiconductor world such as Dallas Semiconductor (later Maxim), Texas Instruments, Motorola, and Intel. “Working as a contractor appealed to my entrepreneurial spirit. It meant having to stay at the top of my game, being held to higher standards of productivity, and maintaining a reputation of reliability and adaptability to meet my client’s demands.”

That entrepreneurial spirit was passed down to him from his family who went on to invest in commercial retail property throughout Dallas beginning in the late 1990s. This set off a newfound interest in real estate where as a budding investor himself, Ignacio contributes to the acquisition and management of those commercial properties as well as residential properties of his own. “Utilizing the knowledge and insight from my own investment experiences, I come up with a strategy to negotiate the purchase of a given property at the best price for my clients. I emphasize an investor mentality when purchasing a property or home. If a home purchase is the single biggest investment most Americans make, I want to make sure they get the best value for their dollar. A lot of emotions come into play and as an agent I look out for my client’s best interests on the business side of the transaction. That is why I call myself a ‘Real-Estate Strategist.”
