Greenway Parks

Greenway Parks is one of Dallas’ most unique neighborhoods. It is located just three miles north of downtown and is bounded by University on the North, Mockingbird on the South, between Inwood and the North Dallas Tollway. The neighborhood is designed to be pedestrian friendly with homes clustered around large center parkways. A central boulevard bisects the neighborhood and creates two small parks on the north and south ends of the neighborhood. Several noted architects have contributed to the area including O’Neil Ford, Charles Dilbeck and Howard Meyer. In 2003, the neighborhood was recognized by the City of Dallas as a Conservation District.

Greenway Parks operates under a mandatory Home Owners Association which provides for the management of common areas including the parks and greenbelts. A Neighbors Club exists separately for social functions and networking.

In 2002, Greenway Parks was named of the Texas’ 25 Best Places by the Texas Society of Architects. This was only one of three cited locations in Dallas.
