Preston Hollow
In 1939, Preston Hollow was a self-contained municipality in 1939, provisioned by the Preston Road Fresh Water Supply.
Preston Hollow is known for its creeks, hollows and wooded areas.
Preston Hollow area is broadly defined as being north of Northwest Highway, south of Forest Lane, east of Midway Road and
west of North Central Expressway. The homes in the Preston Hollow Area range from multi-million dollar homes on several acres,
high contemporaries, mid-century moderns, sprawling ranch homes with acre lots, exclusive gated communities, quaint cottages,
duplexes and a few multi-family residences. This vast array of architectural styles, individual neighborhood ambiences,
location in Dallas and price ranges makes Preston Hollow one of the most popular and diversified areas in Dallas.
The area north of Northwest Highway, south of Walnut Hill Lane, east of Midway Road and west of Preston Road remain
the boundaries of Preston Hollow, which is also known as “Old Preston Hollow”. Old Preston Hollow is one
of the wealthiest areas in the State of Texas and is home to many famous and wealthy residents.
