Ridgewood Park

Ridgewood Park is a quaint neighborhood in East Dallas bounded to the west by Abrams Rd., to the north by Lovers Ln., to the east by Fisher Rd., and to the south by Trammel.  Most of the homes in this area are high quality brick homes constructed in the 1950s.  Before the development of this neighborhood, Ridgewood Park was home to dairy farms and ball parks.  The original farm house still stands in the neighborhood.

Ridgewood Park residents are a diverse mix of sophisticated singles, young couples, growing families and distinguished seniors. Many of our senior residents are original owners of their homes, and often share the neighborhood's rich history with younger neighbors. These original residents have instilled a tradition of friendliness and community among all neighbors. The tidy maintenance of homes and lawns practiced by Ridgewood Park seniors is carried on by our younger residents. Our newest neighbors have updated many of the classic ranch-style homes in Ridgewood Park, giving them a new freshness. Families are found on many weekend days enjoying the sights, sounds and smells of Ridgewood Park. Nearly everyone in Ridgewood Park takes afternoon and evening walks.

Mockingbird Station, Lakewood Shopping Center, NorthPark Mall, Old Town Center, Ridgewood-Belcher Recreational Center, the Spray Park at the recreational center, and White Rock Lake all offer shopping, dining, and fun in close proximity to Ridgewood Park.
