Turtle Creek is one of Dallas most scenic streets. A winding drive along Turtle Creek Boulevard is one of the most beautiful sights Dallas has to offer. Traditionally, the Turtle Creek neighborhood is thought of as the series of high rise condominiums that exist along the entire stretch of Turtle Creek from Avondale down to Maple. However, there are many townhomes and single family homes interspersed between the high rises.
The highrises of Turtle Creek offer a great variety of lifestyles. From “21” located on the north end where a smaller one-bedroom can be purchased for near $100,000 up to the Claridge where premium condominiums can run several million dollars, there are homes to fit many lifestyles.
There are a great many attractions to the area. The Kalita Humphries Theater, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright sits hidden in a wooded area between Blackburn and Lemmon. Lee Park, Reverchon Park, the Katy Trail, West Village and Victory Park are all in or adjacent to Turtle Creek. And then there is the creek itself. Beautifully maintained by the Turtle Creek Association, this creek is a park of its own with beautiful landscaping and active wildlife year round.
