University Terrace

University Terrace was established in 1954 and is a unique, dynamic neighborhood. UT, as known by the community, is located in East Dallas, about eight miles from downtown, within a stone's throw from White Rock Lake, NorthPark Shopping Center, Dallas Arboretum, and Flag Pole Hill. Known for its traditional styled homes, UT is made up of 11 streets south of Northwest Highway with its borders of Bucknell, Wake Forest Drive, Syracuse Drive, and Middlebury. It is currently zoned for the DISD with the sought after schools of Lakewood Elementary, JL Long Middle School, and Woodrow Wilson High School.

University Terrace boasts community events throughout the year including a July 4th parade, a Halloween parade, and a block party to mingle with the neighbors.
